A discussion of resident rights ensues after the residents sing the song to Elizabeth Smith and someone asks Cleta how one might get resolution of a hypothetical problem.
"You can speak to your charge nurse," says Cleta.
"And if that doesn't do any good?" asks another resident.
"Then you speak to Christine, (the director of nurses)" Cleta replies.
"And if that does no good?"
"Then you can speak to the Rick, (the administrator)"
"And if that doesn't do any good?"
"Then you can speak to Debby or Barry."
"And how about if Debby and Barry don't give us satisfaction?" asks the Harvard man.
"Now you all know that somewhere along the line, you'll get satisfaction around here," said Cleta. "But if you can't get any satisfaction, in the front of the building near the nursing station is a big sign with the Ombudsman's phone number on it. I'll personally take you by the hand and bring you to the telephone and dial the number and get the ombudsman on the line for you. Then the ombudsman will come in and sit with every one concerned and get it sorted out."
